Hi, I'm Julie - a 50 year old, menopausal, overweight woman, with a love of chocolate.
So not your typical fitness instructor then.
Which is exactly why I qualified in fitness instructing in 2020, because I knew there were women out there who felt they didn't belong in group exercise classes, who lacked confidence in themselves, who weren't the right age, size, fitness level...the list goes on.
Since I started my classes, I have had the absolute joy of meeting women who wanted to get fitter, and have fun doing it.
My classes are small, but the energy isn't.
I don't believe in no pain, no gain. I believe in personalised workouts. That means if there's a movement you can't do, I'll show you a different exercise you can do.
No punishment. No shame. No comparison.
